We know that re-rocking an entire room with drywall is an expensive endeavor - and often unnecessary if the water damage is contained to just the lower portion.  

At SERVPRO of the North Fork, we cut walls within a safe margin taking only what is necessary.  Replacement with your contractor will then use much less materials than if the entire room was stripped.  Less materials means less labor, less expense, and less in the landfills for the environment. 

Wet drywall is removed to dry out the wall cavity and framing, but in cases where we determine that removal is not necessary, we can make pilot holes and dry areas behind the wall with our equipment, monitoring the moisture readings until at an acceptable level to ensure the area is dry.
