Flooded Basement After a Heavy Storm in Long Island

Here is an example of water damage from a heavy storm causing a lot of damage in an unfinish basement, the owners called SERVPRO of the North Fork, and we sent a team right out to assess and get started. We proceed to extract standing water, remove content, clean and restored, and damages articles were carted away. We will restore whenever possible – it is more cost effective in many cases.

SERVPRO of the North Fork, was able to thoroughly dry the space, lower the moisture content and return the space to its pre-event condition, "Like it never even happened."  We are quite meticulous about our drying - we never want customers to have a mold event follow their water event so even when it looks dry, we rely on tools to make certain the moisture readings are in an acceptable range before we pull equipment.
