Heavy Storm Affected Commercial Warehouse in Long Island

A local business experienced severe water damage due to a heavy storm that flooded their warehouse. The company immediately called SERVPRO of the North Fork, the standing water was already damaging the existing shelving and store inventory when we arrived.

We assessed the damage by quickly extracting standing water by cleaning the room, disinfecting the walls, floors and articles within the room. We also moved items out of harm. After cleaning, our team proceeded by placing specialty drying equipment around the affected areas to prevent secondary damage. Concrete slab floors which require a slow drying process to complete efficiently. We left equipment running for four days to make sure all the affected areas were dry to complete our job.
